"There is a difference between a good trial lawyer and a litigator. I can do both well and know that sometimes a courtroom battle is inevitable. But I also recognize that the best outcomes preserve relationships and are achieved through dialogue."-Laurie E. Leader
"I view cases as relationships rather than as matters, where my client's objectives and interests are paramount."
I have focused on making a difference through the practice of law and developing relationships with my clients. I view my clients as relationships, not just cases. Beyond the facts, I see people and their stories. My vast experience gives me a unique approach that allows me to anticipate my clients' needs, meet their objectives and achieve success.
My experience in representing labor unions, management and individuals allows me to have a distinct perspective in the practice of labor and employment law. In addition, my experience as a clinical professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law has given me the opportunity to make a difference with law students by stressing that people are at the center of every case.
